Overview

Prosper Yao holds a degree in Telecommunications Engineering from the Institut des Technologies et Spécialités (ITES) in Abidjan, and is an ITILv4 and ISO 27001 Lead Implementer.

After starting out in IT with a number of companies, including SAGEM Sécurité SA, he began his career in finance with AXA Côte d’Ivoire as Head of IT Projects and Digital Development. He then joined NSIA Participations Holding as Group Project Manager in charge of 23 insurance subsidiaries in 12 countries (Benin, Cameroon, Côte d’Ivoire, Congo, Gabon, Ghana, Guinea, Guinea Bissau, Mali, Nigeria, Senegal and Togo). He then joined Société Générale Côte d’Ivoire as Portfolio Management Officer and MCI Care Côte d’Ivoire as Director of Information Systems.

Since March 2025, he has been Project and Organisation Director at AFG Bank Mali.
