Banque Internationale pour le Commerce et l’Industrie au Mali (BICIM) is a leading financial institution with a 25-year history in Mali. With its imposing glass-and-steel headquarters in the heart of the river district, BICIM is synonymous with innovation and banking services tailored to all customers.
From its creation in January 1999 to December 2020, BICIM was a subsidiary of the BNP Paribas Group, which at the time held 85% of the shares, with 15% held by private Malian companies.
Under the BNP Paribas Group, BICIM thrived by offering a full range of financial services to local companies and individuals.
Its network spanned the capital, offering loans, investments and strategic financial advice by business segment.
In December 2020, the pan-African Atlantic Financial Group (AFG) acquired the shares held by BNP Paribas, giving the bank a new strategic direction.
One of the first steps taken in this new direction was the opening up to all types of customers (Individuals, Professionals, Companies, Institutional Investors, Public Companies and Organizations) as well as the expansion of the branch network in the capital with 11 branches and several ATMs as well as a branch in the Kayes region in February 2022.
Since then, BICIM has pursued its development by innovating, digitizing its tools and adapting its structures, to meet the expectations of its customers and the requirements of a service to international standards. Its digital platforms offer instant transactions, real-time financial analysis and privileged access to tailor-made services.
Since 2023, BICIM has put customer care at the heart of its business customers by committing to be responsive, diligent, available and above all to provide them with fluid and transparent communication at all times in order to guarantee their satisfaction.
